The Sound Beach Fire Department was proud to send members and equipment to the 12th Annual Lt. Joseph DiBernardo Memorial Training Seminar this past weekend.

Our members had the incredible opportunity to train alongside firefighters from across the United States, Canada, and even Ecuador, sharpening their skills in firefighting, firefighter rescue, and technical rescue operations.
This event honors the legacy of Lt. Joseph DiBernardo and supports departments in need through the Joey D Foundation, which has awarded over $1.5 million in grants to help purchase personal safety escape systems for firefighters.
