Each year the Chief names an
Emergency Medical Technician from the Sound Beach Fire Department as
"Rescue Person of the year".
The recipient is chosen based on
their skills as an E.M.T., their activity level on ambulance calls, and
there overall contribution and dedication to the Emergency Medical
Services of our department.
