The Sound Beach Fire Department recently purchased a new Vehicle stabilization system call Res-Q-Jack.  The system consists of a combination of metal struts and straps.  The purpose of the system is to stabilize a vehicle that has been involved in a motor vehicle accident and is on its side or roof.  The system allows rescuers to safely work on the vehicle as well as removal of a patient without fear of the car falling on anyone.
