Each year the Chief of Department names an
individual as "Firefighter of the year". Firefighter of the Year
honors are given to an individual or individuals who have given
extraordinary service to our department. That service may be a
heroic act such as rescuing a person from a dangerous situation, or the
overall contribution the member has given to the
department. We salute and applaud all of our Firefighter of the Year
recipients.
