On Sunday March 26th we were activated for a reported structure fire.  The initial report was smoke in the basement.  Upon arrival of  2^nd Asst Chief Rosasco and the crew from 5A6-1 it was discovered that a candle had been knocked over. The homeowner had a water extinguisher and was able to extinguish the fire prior to our arrival.  The responding crews assisted with a small amount of overhaul and ventilation.
